Foreign Language

SPANISH I

Spanish I emphasizes the acquisition of basic language skills in Spanish: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.  Forty percent or more of the course involves speaking and listening.  Hispanic culture is integrated thourghout the course.  (Prerequisite: None)

SPANISH II

This course expands basic language skills in Spanish: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.  Forty percent or more of the course involves speaking and listening.  Hispanic culture is integrated throughout the course.  (Prerequisite: Spanish I)

SPANISH III

Spanish III emphasizes Spanish literature and the effective use of Spanish as a communication tool.  (Prerequisite: Spanish II)

SPANISH IV

Spanish IV course emphasize oral and written communication and expression, including the exporation of significant events in the past, present, and future.
