Inspection Schedule For Excused

Hi everyone,
This Thursday (Feb 20, 2014) is Bossier High JROTC's inspection. In addition to the inspection day, JROTC is asking for key cadets to be excused the day prior (Wednesday) to perform dress rehearsals and help facilitate the inspection.  Teachers please allow these students to make up any lost work during those days. Here is an updated list of students needed for both days during specified blocks:

-Begin Sales of Military Ball Tickets

-Nominate for awards (use last year's list of awards)

-Plan military ball (seating, food choices, activities)

-Assign two dates for community service & type of activity

-Determine location of next trip (outside state NET 1 Apr 14)

Commander's Intent (17-21 Feb 14)

-Use assessment checklist to ensure everything is ready

-Practice dry runs of all inspection components

-Issue appropriate ranks

-Shoe shine parties

-Practice dress-rehersal and refine presentation

-Ponder the questions and think of appropriate answers

-Engage, fight and win!

Commander's Intent (10-17 FEB 14)

-Take Inspection Question Tests

-All staff positions will build their Who Dat page to include a job description

-Each individual on the briefing team will develop:

--Speaking introduction

--Answer all SMART questions associated with the goal(s) they are managing

--Practice their briefing

-Active women cadets will attend Wednesday Lunch Briefing on Inspection Hair Standards presented by Coach Williams

-Daily turn-in of end-of-lesson questions:

--2 Lessons from AS 

--2 Lessons from LE

-4th Block will train 30-step drill sequence under direction of C/AB Travis Goad

-Cadets will take daily chain-of-command tests for grade

-A-3 positions will inventory:

--Uniforms

--Curriculum (Textbooks)

--Computers

--Weapons

 

Commander's Intent (3-7 FEB 14)

-Provide nominations for the following awards: Knights of Columbus, Hunley Award

-Start facility cleaning projects

-Enter PFT initial assessment tests

-Test on goal setting

-Review previous inspection mission briefing

-Perform inventory counts

-Perform inspection checklist

-Ensure ranks are input into WINGS

-Develop 2 community service projects to execute over the next month

-ID mission briefing team

-ID who will lead the 30-step drill
