WE ARE MOTIVATED, DEDICATED, EDUCATED, SUPERIOR CADETS !!

I am cadet Major Steven Sheerin and I am LA-073's Drill Team Commander for 2014. I am privileged to say that I have been in Drill Team and in JROTC for 4 years and I have enjoyed every minute in the program. Drill Team is where cadets learn and experience military drill and ceremony. There are two kinds of drills:  Regulation and Exhibition. Regulation is where cadets develop basic marching skills and to also know and perform the 30 step drill sequence. Exhibition on the other hands is subdivided into two teams Unarmed and Armed. Unarmed drill being that of precision marching and various hand movements and Armed which incorporates rifles and spinning them while showing military professionalism.
